I'm pretty sure the great majority of college football fans are okay with anyone winning other than Clemson, just for a change of pace.
I used to think I was 100% anti-SEC in the playoffs but I think I was really just tired of Alabama lording it over everyone.
I'm pretty much rooting for LSU if only to make Texas going into that buzz saw next year more intense. Ohio State, fine, Clemson, whatever and frick OU.

While I respect that sentiment about wanting to play the much “tougher” team, as an LSU fan you should want the easier matchup to exploit. OSU is probably not the challenge that Clemson is. So you maybe want a flukey type OSU win against Clemons and then perhaps boat race OSU in New Orleans like last time.
