nd it's absolutely justifiable for people in Louisiana, some of whom may actually have to live in an area where this clown makes decisions that directly impact them, to be upset about this.

I'm just waiting for someone to stalk this guy until they uncover some 6th degree ties to UA.

You guys have to try Dimple Pinch Scotch when you get a chance

I'll keep an eye out. The most enjoyable scotch I've had was Glenrothes. But, I think it's aged in bourbon barrels, which may account for my comfort with it.

I've actually tried to stray from scotch. I'm not sure if my income can sustain top-shelf scotch.

Alabama football hatred aside, the DA's statement reads like something from an Onion article.

Holy shite.

Charges reduced I could've seen. Charges dropped because they sweat during football practice is unreal.

I'm sure people are looking. But I'm more inclined to invoke Hanlon's razor in this instance.

Well, the floorboard gun was going to be tough to hit Robinson on with a "stolen firearm." First, unless he said it was his you have problems over which one "owned" it. Second, you might not be able to prove that either one even knew it was there. Third, not knowing an item is stolen is a defense to possession of stolen property. You still lose the property though.

Wow. Are you really going to have "problems"? Seems like the USSC just ruled on probable cause on arresting for possession a little over a decade ago in Maryland v. Pringle, but perhaps you've been made aware of an intervening case since then that redefines the powers and scope of probable cause for possession?

Did you pass the bar or are you still in school? There's no trash-talking or insults coming. I'm just curious as to the extent of the "law" in Blawdawg stands for.

brings a smile to my face that you used google image to make your point. God bless you and your inbred children. I can google too. I did add that LA was bad in my post. My point was, Alabama is right up there with us. But don't let the fact both you. Hardvard study reported by AL.com Political corruption per capita top corrupt states reported by fortune

In 2 of your links, Louisiana was rated worse than Alabama in corruption. In the first link, Louisiana wasn't ranked as they didn't provide any data. In the second link, Louisana was rated the most corrupt state. In the third link, they were ranked 2nd most corrupt behind only Mississippi.

Silly corndog.

Act like thugs? Seems to me using those guns to commit a crime against another individual would make them thugs, or do you consider anyone who smokes weed a thug?

Citing insufficient evidence, a Louisiana district attorney has declined to prosecute two Alabama football players, Cam Robinson and Hootie Jones, who were arrested in May for possession of an illegal firearm and marijuana. Considering the fairly straightforward facts of the case, many were initially confused as to how there could be a lack of evidence. But according to Hootie Jones and Cam Robinson's attorney, an illegal search had doomed the prosecution's case.
Police discovered Jones and Robinson parked in a closed Monroe, Louisiana public park at 2 a.m. on May 17. According to the police report, Jones and Robinson had marijuana and a stolen handgun inside the car. What aspect of the search that uncovered these items was illegal remains unclear.

In the United States legal system, you can't be prosecuted for law-breaking discovered as a result of an illegal search, but the U.S. Constitution offers no protection from any punishment Nick Saban might elect to dole out. Cam Robinson is regarded by many as the top offensive tackle in college football and will likely be a top 10 selection in the 2017 NFL Draft. Many will be waiting to see if Saban decides to suspend Robinson for any portion of the 2016 season.
