FSU QB tweeted that. Going to be honest, I rode the Herman train harder than anyone, amd never wanted the Jimbo.

Turns out hes a classless dick.

Dodged another bullet.

You can etch that onto your LSU failure monument next to Sumlin and Chavis.

That's pretty damned cowardly if he didn't address his players.

This is becoming a theme for LSU. Looks like you guys have it all figured out.

He did address his players. It’s already been reported.

Most coaches don't give a shite about the players they have beyond how much money they can make them.

FSU admin prevented him from addressing his players. He wanted to coach the last game, and they forced him out early.

Your sarcasm is noted, but it actually does seem that way.

Almost the same way Fran left Alabama for A&M.

If you’re implying that Jimbo Fisher is a lesser option than Ed Orgeron, then I would call that denial.

Fran did leave Bama that way. I talked to Gene Stallings about it once, and he was pissed. He never liked Fran.

But this thread is a lie. Jimbo did not do that. He wanted to coach the last game and go out the right way, but FSU admin prevented him.

they would owe him 40M dollars for not allowing him to coach Saturday, as that would be the same as firing him, no?

YESSSSS, this is more in line with the type of melt i'm looking for. Get a hold of Samspon and teach him how it's done!

Big meeting early this afternoon, with FSU president and all the admin, and they had cooked up a way to suspend him without firing him. This is according to FSU boards. That's why he went ahead and resigned. Again, this is according to FSU mods and insiders.

Fran was a fraud of a head coach and that's why he sucked at A&M. However, I've always thought the way he left Bama gave him some bad mojo at A&M.
