sylvester croom (former HC of miss st) is saying that it's a problem that there's no black HC in the SEC
i guess this could have been in the political board (or maybe the OT), but oh well

They should try being good coaches

Saban should step down and allow a young King to take his place
It's the right thing to do

Why is it a problem? Maybe their are no current BHC that are qualified to coach in the SEC.

I member when racists wanted Auburn to hire Turner Gill only because he was black

There would be if Kevin Sumlin and Derek Mason weren't terrible coaches

He would probably still be a head coach if he would’ve had Saban-level success. Should’ve tried harder and he could’ve solved this problem himself

Derek Mason was the last one to try and fail. An SEC school would have hired Mel Tucker, but Michigan State jumped in and offered 95 million dollars and shut that down. No one was matching that.

Jim Harbaugh is the one with a black head coaching problem in East Lansing. He's 0-2.

I know, which is why I wanted someone in the SEC to hire him. he's also recruiting at an unprecedented level for MSU

Who gives a frick?
What black coach out there absolutely should have a HC job that doesn’t currently have one?
It’s like the Eric bienemy deal. Everyone cries about him not being a NFL HC but totally overlook that he has a criminal past that is very awful and the fact that his current HC is Andy Reid who has always been seen as an offensive guru that runs his own offense

Yep Mel Tucker has been a pretty damn good coach at a really great school which has been to the playoffs once already

Was hired because of his race. He was awful. Now the same guy says: better coaches are losing job offers because they’re black. It’s an absolute lie.

Forget race, your dislike or belief Black people somehow are inferior..
Do you realize how dumb this sounds when looking at how bad some of the coaches in the SEC have been (currently are)?
That statement makes it seem like all SEC schools have amazing coaches when it's just a handful.

Those guys get fired too. 14 SEC coaches have been fired in 5 years.

Why aren't there any white coaches in the SWAC?

Ed Orgeron got fired 1 1/2 years after winning a title. He’s white. So it happens to all coaches.

Who can you definitively say is "bad" in the league right now? Brian Harsin at Auburn and then who else?
Napier and Beamer, way to early to tell. Drink at Mizzou I certainly wouldn't say is "bad." Leach has maximized every program he ever been at. Clark Lea at Vandy seems to be getting that program at least in the right direction. Kiffin looks to have gotten it together and has Ole Miss going pretty well. Jimbo has a natty, Brian Kelly has been a career winner. Do we need to discuss Kirby or Saban?
Edit: I left out Mark Stoops who's been very, very good for Kentucky

The head of the whole fricking school is black so I think we're covered.
