At the ripe young age of 75, while his ESPN contract, Mercedes dealerships, and other investments net him more money than what he was making at Alabama.

Urban Meyer: I think this one is the most likely of the bunch you named. He's only 60 years old, has three national championships at two schools, and could go to a mid-tier P4 school and do some damage. Question will be if he's gotten over his habit of putting his thumb up girls' butts.
Urban Meyer just seems like a walking lawsuit for any university.
Is he still good enough for a program to put up with the headaches his shenanigans would create?

I can see Urban, Nick and Jimbo going to other schools. Brown's done.
I think Nick will take another year off and end up coaching somewhere out east.

I could see Urban Meyer getting another shot if he wanted it. Even with the crazy, he's still one of the most talented coaches in cfb history.
Jimbo actually did a good job of maintaining the expected success of A&M. He would probably have more success at a better program, really.

It'd have to be the right situation. He'd have no shot at Notre Dame or Penn State (teams he's previously showed interest in), but somewhere desperate enough like Nebraska or UCLA? I could see it

Still being overpaid

I'm not sure Urban would do that though. He is a 5 year tops guy and isn't going to want to spend 3 years building a team.
He would want to walk into a ND as you kind of suggested, have a top 10 caliber roster, make 10 transfers in the first offseason, then go for a win or two in years 2-5. One possible is maybe USC if Riley burns out? They are pretty talented even if inconsistent and you can attract people with money and LA

Still getting paid about 90% LESS than Jimbo. Even right now as we speak.

Mack Brown was pretty accomplished even without VY.
Agreed. People forget how Mack got a useless UNC program rolling and got them finishing in the top 10 a few times before leaving for Texas.
Texas was in a bad spot when he got there and jumpstarted the program in real time. He had twelve straight ranked seasons and really dominated the recruiting process.
Ogre on the other hand was 10-25 at Ole Miss before being shi$canned and caught lightning in a bottle for a few seasons at LSU before reverting to form and once again getting shi$canned

That team that VY was on was flat-out loaded. I'm surprised there wasn't mutiny due to VY not spreading the ball out more. His plays turned into keepers twice as much as they should have. It worked out anyway - but if defenses didn't have to keep check on all that Texas talent, VY's hot dogging may not have been so proficient.

He came back to coach defense at UNC... failed miserably.
I did like him on SEC Network with Doering.
