Getting arrested for violence toward women and so forth.

To be clear, he was arrested for a bar fight when he tried to re-enter a bar to retrieve his credit card.

He had a restraining order issued against him after repeated charges of domestic violence and had to enroll in a domestic violence course. That woman was not his spouse, and he was never arrested on any charge of domestic violence to my understanding.

All that said, I think he is quite a different man some near 30 years later, as I know he is quite a different HC. Everyone makes mistakes. Not sure the utility of digging up the past and slinging shite. The man admitted his mistakes, took ownership, and has been a positive influence on a lot of lives since then.

Now look at what you posted and tell me where he "got arrested for violence toward women"

quote:

Restraining order from a woman granted in 1991 for repeated violence in Dade City, Fl. Made permanent in 1992

Actaully the restraining order was for the accusation of repeated violence. Never proven. It was made permanent in 92 then rescinded. I noticed you left the last part out.

So it's not like I'm telling on him.

I'm pretty sure he "told on" himself. You're just making shite up.

This topic has been brought up many times on Tiger Rant. I've also had to overcome alcohol/substance abuse and severe anger issues. This stuff doesn't happen overnight and it takes a lot of hard work everyday to fix it. I have so much respect for Coach O for becoming a better man and leaving that other stuff behind.

Making a post blasting and comparing personal attributes of a rival coach who has spent a fortune building a Catholic Student Center on his campus. And contributed even more millions to his needy children foundation "Nick's Kids" is not a particularly good look. In the future I suggest you think through any slap happy drivel before going there. Especially in light of the current and unknown domestic situation close to your favorite school in the news.

I am going to delete the available public knowledge of your coach post since he is not the idiot making slanderous posts about a man you couldn't possibly measure up too. And yeah I realize that's what fans do but if you are dishing you have to be prepared to receive the return fire.

Most legendary coaches weren't/aren't. That's one of the things that separates them from the pack.

Well, they keep telling us that a few will go insane from being quarantined for so long. Clearly momentoftruth87 has lost it.

Nick Saban has the heart of a tyrant. His players have now heard ALL of his tirades, the imitations of his tirades, and the imitations of the imitations of his tirades. He has LOST his locker room and now is at the point where his teams bully lesser talented teams and get beat by teams that are on the same level. The fact that he hates Gump fans and everyone who can not directly benefit him will be more obvious and pronounced as the championship-level football continues to evade him. He's going to be especially SCREAMY and WHINY this year.

Catching lightning in a bottle in 1 magical season, with a Transfer QB doesn't make Orgeron a better coach than Saban

Bottom line is that Saban is the best HC in the History of D1A CFB, and the 2nd guy isn't that close

What Saban has done in an Era of 85 schollies, where everyone has the same access to playing on TV, unlike previous Eras, is amazing

Saban is the GOAT, Orgeron will never make another CFP as long as he coaches, Orgeron will be an asterisk, just some guy that had 1 great yr in 2019 that will never make any serious noise ever again

You fricks said Orgeron would be fired by year 3, instead he built one of the best college football teams ever.

I think we'll take our chances.
