Even with him coaching here, Ed O is one of us and a better coach than Saban in general.

I'll take anyone who wins.
That said, O is a lot more fun than Saban.

Nick saban is a friend. He giving out money for covid19 patients. He donating water. That's a good person. All this time off gives saban plenty of time to think when he going to retire

Water is virtually free anyways, so not that mighty of him. He will be more charitable in a living room once we can get back to normal.

Most of your threads are boring nonsense...

Orgeron does seem to be more tuned in to the common and lower class activities of the edgier class of LSU fans. He talks like 'em and even acts like some, not all of them. Getting arrested for violence toward women and so forth. Saban has been married to his HS sweetheart always, adopted two children and raised them. And takes care of his mom. Sorta boring. So I'll give you that Ed O. is more like a certain class of fan.
As a coach....he was a loser at Ole Miss and kicked around as an assistant then sorta inherited the LSU job where made a good hire with Ensminger and maybe keeping or hiring the recently departed DC. But comparing his career to Nick Saban is at best ridiculous to the extreme. Saban kicked arse at Toledo, turned Mich St around. Took over a rat eared LSU and won it all and changed their program. And has rivaled Bryant at UA. Not bad

Saban is one of those work you to death coaches
I remember when LSU first started utilizing the lightning detection system all sec schools have to use and Saban would come unhinged when it went off and they had to move practice indoors
O knows la so well and it’s his people skills that make him relatable to everyone
I was at a rotary meeting and someone asked a real snarky question about the offense and he flat out told him if I don’t beat bama I won’t be here long
I wonder if that guy will ask another question next time O knows the stakes whereas miles had no clue once Saban started running things at bama

Sure it did. This ain't Ed's first rodeo. His business though. He likely was passed over for better jobs at times for his record of violence.
