Which position?

Fullback, I’d probably pick Hurts.

QB Marshall

Marshall and it’s not even close . Marshall new he was a athlete playing QB but Hurts doesn’t. If Hurst really want to play and win he would go to a team GT where he could run wild and not have to pass to much .

Bowl brings up the 2013 Mississippi State Football game as a great example of games Nick Marshall won for Auburn. What games did Jalen Hurts win for Alabama? He lost to Clemson and would have lost to Georgia. And I don't need to bring up his performance against Auburn. In any close game situation, he would find a way to lose.

Put Hurts in that offense and he’d likely win a game with his legs too.

Marshall is one of the most underrated players in the SEC of the past 20 yrs. incredibly fast, quick, and had a cannon. Funny thing is Auburn fans wanted him benched for Jeremy Johnson in 2014 LOL

with Bama WR's and running and that cannon Marshall had, he'd throw for 30 plus td's.. Jalen Hurts fricking sucks.

It warms my heart to see Marshall get the respect he had here. He really was a talented football player and did an electrifying job at Auburn.

Had Gus let Marshall loose in 2014 he would have put up Johnny Football type numbers. Instead Gus pounded Artis Payne up the middle all year long.

Marshall as a QB

I do believe Hurts could be an outstanding RB

I think Marshall was a better qb, but Hurts did engineer a comeback win against Miss State, to be fair.

How is it not a question, when the guy everyone is saying was better than Hurts had worse stats?

Marshall was a dynamic runner, with a strong arm. He also wasn't very accurate, especially on deep passes, and struggled reading defenses.

Everyone is playing revisionist history because Hurts last game was a cluster.

Jalen would only be chosen over Marshall if they were interviewing for a broadcasting job.

I corrected your statement to make it accurate. Because this Auburn fan right here never wanted any such thing. Now don't get me wrong, I was fooled by Jeremy Johnson as much as the next guy and was looking forward to him being the starter. But I never once hoped or wished for him to replace Nick Marshall because Nick Marshall was a fricking wizard and a magician.
