I don’t think Chubb got paid because his stock wasn’t that great coming off an injury but that’s precisely why a player would get paid their Jr year...so they don’t go “pro”

What he’s doing at Valdosta is what every successful hs football coach is doing. Lee Co HS right up the road went from getting beat like a redheaded step child to winning and/or playing for 6A state championship games like 4/5 years

Players profit in off-campus room and board and cost of attendance stipends.
He probably clears $2500/month. Not to mention available loans and grants.
Everyone thinks of these poor abused football players. It isnt nfl money by a long shot. But they are clearing more cash than a lot of kids just out of college with no rent or food to burden them.
