The silver lining is that Chubb has always said, since college, his ultimate dream was taking whatever NFL money he could get and take it back to Chubbtown and start a generational farm for all of his family and descendants. Now he gets to do that earlier than planned, but he's walking into his ultimate dream with plenty of money.

Hey Karen, Pro football ain’t no bridge club. It’s grown men knocking each other around at high velocity.
I am all about hard, clean hits. This was the exact opposite of that. Dirty hits like that are reprehensible and deserve punishment.

What part of that was dirty? Please try to answer without your Karen emotions.

Another horrible, career ending injury .. Nick and Marcus two incredibly talented players ... great people, too.

Going very low directly into a knee from a side angle against an engaged player is as dirty as a hit can get, as proven by the injury. The only outcome from such a hit is a major injury.

It wasn't a dirty hit. Just a really unfortunate thing.

That looks horrible. Absolutely hate it for him. RB’s are gonna have to get some help from the league.

I still haven't watched that one. Was at a tailgate at Georgia Florida and game was on but I missed it. Great player and person.

Shut the frick up. It's football man. Brutal awful injury with the likes of Lattimore and Willis McGahee. Chubb comes from different stock though. Whatever happens he will succeed in life. Great young man.

For all the talk in this league, and college, about player safety ? A few things would be pretty obvious, if we just went back to a blank sheet of paper.
1 - No kickoffs. Spot the ball at at the twenty or twenty five. Yes, no more on-sides kicks. So be it.
2 - No advancing a punt. Either you field it and down it there, or let it roll.
3 - The biggy. No hits below the waist. Either on the line during blocks, or tackles. This one would change the game. I think for the better.

I'm no doctor, but I don't think the leg is supposed to do that.
Looked like some PS1 era graphic glitch

Targeting has caused players to hit the legs now. I don't think it was dirty at all.

Hell, why don’t they just play touch or flag for now on.
