Pretty sad for the bottom 3.

Dividing that by number of schools:

SEC - 70/14 = 5 per shcool
ACC - 60/14 = 4.3 per school
P12 - 45/12 = 3.8 per school
B10 - 50/14 = 3.6 per school
B12 - 29/10 = 2.9 per school

I will say it's quite odd Etling + Malone were invited and not LaCouture, Gilmore or Herron. None of the our Dlinemen invited, ouch. Talent just had dipped off with that group.

And yet, we made that position coach from the last several years (who was also recruiting coord) our head coach

To be fair, the kids that would had invites to the Combine decided to come back. That will change next year.

We are not well represented this year, but I think next year we will be middle to top.

Very surprised LaCouture and Gilmore aren't invited. Gilmore had 7.5 sacks from the nose.

Well Coach O didn't recruit any of them, it was his job to make the DL better than it was, and he did do that, and secured some nice talent for the future.

Gilmore and LaCouture aren't especially talented guys, but we did get a lot of them this year. Herron too after he came back from suspension. O made a good move to bring Pete Jenkins in to holdover.

Three of Tennessee's four invitees are Juniors.

Correct. Alabama wins. The other two are slightly better than average.

And two of them played for a National Championship this past year.

Gilmore was a 4 star and 7th rated DT

Lacouture was a 4 star and 15th rated DE

Pretty sure Herron was a 4 star too. I am honestly surprised not one of them made the combine. Herron was out with the suspension, so I could see that being a reason, but the other 2 should have invites based on performance and stats.

P J.K. Scott,

Ok, I have always somewhat (not really) paid attention to the combine. Mostly looking at numbers and such at the end of the day really.

I do not ever remember seeing kickers at the combine. What the heck is a punter suppose to do at the combine?
