Cam is just a bad loser. He needs to work on that. He does more things to help people in a week than many will do in their entire life.

people who think he's a thug or classless think football is more than just a game ...
it isn't ...

He isn't a thug, but he IS classless. That can't be argued

he's a thug, or at least a wannabe gangster. He is also a thief, stealing laptops, all about that #thuglife

but yes, i think he's classless. i think he hired an excellent life coach or pr firm or something after auburn or he'd be acting like he did yesterday all the time. they can't control him live and unscripted tho so he loses and he acts like a loser.
So if that happened after Auburn, who life coached him into doing independent solo community work while at Auburn?
Sorry, your theory just breaks down.

I think it stems from the current trend to label things as black or white polar opposites... because he's not a "classy" guy (hard to argue that in any light), then he is by default according to ESPN debate standards "classless". Thank your sports overlords at ESPN for that format of "there is no middle ground". Dude has things to work on... maybe he gets there, maybe he doesn't. For now, he's about what you'd expect from a 26 year old who has succeeded in almost every facet of his life would be when met with disappointment. Many will argue that he's lost plenty of games in the NFL, but I think if you look at it from his standpoint, he felt like this was the year... NFL MVP... team playing at a high level... elite defensive unit there to help even when their offense may falter... and he was doing it without a legitimate #1 WR unless you count Olsen.
If you built yourself up for a big moment (requesting a promotion after a good year at work, marriage proposal, etc)... focusing a ton of time and effort and felt heavily invested in the outcome and it all came crashing down, I imagine most here wouldn't respond well to it... maybe not to the same degree, but it's helpful to keep things in perspective.
Ultimately, as we all know, the rant will go on because that's what the loonies in this asylum do here... but for those few that have functioning brain cells on here... I imagine you already pieced this together as well, just figured I'd throw in my 2 cents.

Pro football is big business and Cam is paid 20 million to be the face of the Carolina Panthers. He failed badly yesterday. He puts a bad face on the Panthers every time he wins without humility. He lost badly and he put a bad face on that too. His lack of class is evident every time he takes the field, win or lose.

Yes I imagine Carolina is looking for a way to unload Cam as we speak

maybe gene encouraged him since his reputation was total crap at that point? that would be my guess anyway. maybe it was out of guilt for being bought- another possibility. i really don't know tho.
do you really think his 'image' hasn't been reinvented since he left auburn?

Mane, you know good and well people don't actually think Cam is a thug, it's just white folks who wanna call him a "****."
If Cam is a thug, then Johnny sure as hell is a thug, but I ain't seen anybody calling him the "t" word.

Did I suggest they would get rid of Cam? No. He is an unbelievable talent but I am certain his actions were embarrassing to them. Maybe they can get counseling for him to teach what his parents did not. He should learn to interact socially, with class. Being excused for his bad behavior is why he is thought of like he is now. Are you excusing him?

Haha it was a bad idea to try and speak to you as if you were a reasonable individual. Never mind.

so you can't argue that his image has been crafted since he left auburn. gotcha.
