There still isn't any real prob with the updyke nayshin. The perceived problem is the narrative espn pushes that if you aren't in the hunt for the national invitationalship then your program is bad and cannot possibly be good.

Why is Alabama so desperate to find starters from the transfer portal when they’ve been recruiting so well?

Didn't your starting QB literally transfer to LSU?

Because LSU hadn't been recruiting so well.

As long as “the process” is there...Bama will always be a force.

12 in 2023 and 2022; 13 in 2021; and 9 in 2020 (down year-they finished second to UGA with only 9 5 stars and 12 4-stars).

Josh just covered this on his Late Kick. Alabama is by far at the top of the Blue Chip ratio.

It's not about the five stars it's about the changing climate of college football. I don't think ANYONE will dominate football like Saban did the past 15 seasons. Having to deal with NIL, a 12 team playoff, Tennessee Having a pulse, Texas Oklahoma, and the rest of the regular SEC slaughter house, makes it nearly impossible. Players can transfer at almost anytime forcing even the ultimate elite teams into a constant portal and recruiting grind. How long do you think Bama will outbid Texas and USC for players? Alabama isn't going anywhere, but the days of 7titles in like 12 years is done for everyone. That's exactly how the football powerbrokers wanted it.

I can only assume you mean the 2012 NCG y'all played against ND? I guess it's a good thing we were good enough to beat Tennessee, amiright?

In fairness they played with a much better defense than Alabama has shown lately.

Right, but all of us who watch the games know that certain positions and ages of those blue chips matter more.

3 5* WRs stuck behind 3 5* WRs isn't doing much for the gameflow.

If you have experienced talented kids on the DL at QB and at OL you have a chance to be really good. Bama has a QB problem (maybe) and that is really where this decline talk is coming from

For fricking frick's sake you say this in every fricking thread.

Is somebody paying you to post this shite in every fricking thread?

Transitive property> Seriously? That's the way you want to go? better think before answering, because if that holds water Alabama never should have made the playoffs in 2017.

And...Georgia blew out the two teams that beat Alabama.

Then we can discuss that TCU also beat Texas by 7 and Alabama was able to squeak by Texas.

Are you really sure you want to go with transitive property?

ETA
Don't down vote then run. Stay and discuss. I merely pointed out the fallacy of your argument. Transitive property just doesn't hold water, and I am pretty sure you already know this. If not, then you should. But why run from a legit discussion?
