I guess that is one way to return to the golden age of TAMU sports. Those championships are just a conference change away from being the norm for 1920s TAMU.

I never really talk bad about A&M, but if A&M leaves the SEC soon after Texas joins it, then it will 100% look like A&M is just running from Texas in my eyes.

From what I’ve heard, Texas turns every conference to shite and destroyed the SWC and Big 12. Maybe A&M is smart, knows what’s coming, and is just being proactive before Texas blows the SEC up. Lol!

Texas has always surrounded themselves with schools utterly dependent on them. Those days are over for Texas.

Aggie you can't leave now. You latched onto LSU 12 years ago when you joined the conference as your new "rival", printed cups after the occasional win, and made us endure your cult like rituals. We've basically served as your surrogate father for over a decade now, let you follow us outside to play, and patted you on the head every year while you won the off season. This is supposed to be the time when your real dad comes in and takes you off of our hands, and we sit back and laugh while the two of you squabble with each other. Things were just about to get entertaining. I think we've earned this.

Trey Alberts is a first rate arse clown and is not taking A&M anywhere.
What A&M should focus is trying change the culture of the school and be less of full blown dipshits. Grabbing your nuts and whooping is not heroic not matter how you try to spin it.

I’m old enough to have been around when the old SWC was around. Yes Texas ran folks off and ultimately destroyed the conference. With that said, that isn’t gonna happen to the SEC. It looks really bad if A&M leaves.

I see these kind of allegations on here all the time, but no one ever explains HOW they ran people off and destroyed conferences. The most you might get is "just wait you'll see". So how about explaining to the rest of us how they managed to single handedly destroy not one but two conferences.

Big 12. They created a network just for them. Not sharing the revenue with conference. Unequal funding. They received a bigger portion of the revenue money from the conference than the other schools.

Turned in SMU for cheating after SMU beat Texas. That was the beginning of the end.
