I would trade A&M and Mizzou for Florida St and Clemson without a second thought. It would be the height of cowardice for A&M to jump ship just to avoid playing their rival.

I just did the math. The ONLY years aTm can claim leading the series are since ‘83, ‘84 and ‘85. They led by at most, 2 games, if you go back to ‘84. If you use ‘86 as the year, the series is even, and anytime more recent the edge goes to UT. If you go to ‘82, it’s even again, and Texas starts to dominate once you go back further.
So to get this straight, the aTm fan can say the Ags have a winning record since ‘83, ‘84, or ‘85, and that’s it.
