Those expected to be in the crosshairs and face the most significant penalties include: Louisville, North Carolina State, Kansas, Arizona, LSU, USC, Oklahoma State, South Carolina and Auburn.

TCU, Creighton and Clemson all also had assistant coaches implicated in the scandal and could face sanctions

One good thing about watching Mike wade in mediocrity all these years is the 100% certainty that Arkansas will never be mentioned in these no matter how many times they crop up.

The NCAA said that a diploma from the University of North Carolina is not a valid higher education diploma because of rampant academic fraud. Don't see how you can be any more in the crosshairs than that.

Notice of allegations are sent out after the NCAA has conducted an investigation. The Schools who are getting them know that they are coming. Since Bruce got a big raise for himself and his staff with an extension tells you AU is more than likely in the clear. Forde and Thamel should know how the system works, they are acting like this is just started.

Frank Martin's former assistant coach, Lamont Evans. Article is from 2017:

quote:

On Sept. 26, the FBI announced that it arrested and charged 10 men, including former South Carolina assistant coach Lamont Evans, in connection with a scheme to funnel six-figure payments to influence at least three high school recruits to sign with an agent and financial adviser.

Evans is accused of accepting at least $22,000 in bribes while on Martin’s staff at South Carolina and later at Oklahoma State. In exchange, he offered agents access to players.

He faces up to 80 years in prison on charges of bribery conspiracy, solicitation of bribes, honest services fraud conspiracy, honest services fraud, conspiracy to commit wire fraud and travel Act conspiracy, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Southern District of New York.

Having South in front of Carolina instead of North.
