Since Bama claims so many BS titles, State could well claim '41

Go ahead, Einstein. I'm sure State fans will come from far and wide to see that '41' crystal.
Of course, that will mean you guys will have to go out and buy youself a trophy case.

And they were scared of covid. B1G is the softest conference in sports
Yep. Bama had the easiest opponent ever for a title game last season.

Still living in 2019 I see.

Based on the Clemson vs Ohio State results you would be wrong, again.

I think Clemson’s shine has worn off. Unless that new QB comes in hungry, they will be the new Oklahoma.

We have more than anyone no matter what metric is used. Claiming 41 still won't make State relevant.

Bama claims one BS title, 1941, and it's complete and utter nonsense to claim that one. All the claims post-1941 have at least one poll title attached to 'em and every school claims poll titles...
The pre-poll titles were primarily based on being undefeated and winning the Rose Bowl (shared one with Stanford after tying the Rose Bowl)...some papers declared the Rose Bowl back then the mythical national championship. It's not outrageous to claim any of the four pre-poll championships that Bama recognizes...

No one is reading all of that, and you're wrong.

Alabama had the most impressive national championship win over a 6 win team, ever.

Remember when Ohio State did it first in the 4 team playoff era?
Isn't it interesting that in all 3 cases, all 3 entrees won the National Championship? Ohio State and Alabama as a 4th seed? Turns out all 3 times they were the best team.
2014 Ohio State won their division and entire conference outright. There was nothing odd about it in the least. 2016 was the year Ohio State sneaked in without winning their division. And they got their shite pushed in 0–31.

It turned out #poorly
It's not turning out so poorly for them in the baseball regional projections so far. Michigan at #98 in the RPI is considered comfortably in as a 2 seed while Indiana at #113 in the RPI is comfortably in the "Last 5 in" category. Meanwhile, LSU at #27 in the RPI is only one slot ahead of Indiana in the Last 5 in. Alabama at #31 in the RPI is still considered the first team out and Georgia at #40 in the RPI is considered to be in serious jeopardy of being left out if they lost today.
The B1G is gaming the system yet again and seem to be on pace to be rewarded for it because apparently RPI and strength of schedule are relative non-factors in the eyes of the selection committee.

Remember those years Alabama didn't win their division and still played for a title?
And remember that we won the NC in those years? Proving that we were the best team anyways?
I remember.

Not the 2020 game, but definitely the 2018 game. 29-0 in Tiger Stadium. You got us in 2019 but flukes happen every once in a while.
So your only criticism of the 2019 LSU team that will go down as the best ever in college football is that it didn't do as much in 2018 or 2020. Every team in every season is different and stands on its own. Only an ignorant Bama Gump would try to judge one season based on what happened in a different one.
