Regarding Louisville v SC, yeah, I think it is. Especially considering Beamer has no ties to the Kentuckiana area. He's an SEC-based guy, considering his past at UTK, Uga, MSU and SC (2x). In addition, Louisville has a weaker conference affiliation, with little history in the ACC.
Jurich and company dumped a lot of money into Louisville, and they've paved a good road for success there. But I don't think anyone can realistically argue that, objectively, it's a better program overall. Could be wrong, but it's not a fit for Beamer.

I dont know about the ultimatum but Beamer is the second lowest paid coach in the SEC if he is higher than Clark Lea at Vandy whose salary is not posted due to them being private. He could get to $6.0 mil and only be middle of the pack.

Beamer without Rattler is a below average team …. He won’t be able to do this consistently so yes his agent needs to lock in that money now . Everyone in the sec is fighting to be average because they know they will never be on top of the sec … I bet in 5 years South Carolina tries to fire him …. They think they are gods gift and are not happy with winning 7-8 games a year lol. Just like aggy
