UGA Q1 record is 1-2 and 3-2 in Q2 with losses on neutral sites which kills y’all…in fact, UGA is 0-3 on neutral sites which is a killer

You’re missing the point buddy

Feel free to explain why teams like Washington are ahead

Washington has a decent Q1 win on a neutral site vs Xavier (35)…UGAs only Q1 win away from Coleman is a meh win vs USC that is 69 on the NET.

They very well could. Your track record of winning big games is certainly impressive.

I was just being goofy... Tennessee man-handled us last season up in Knoxville. We shall see....

So you don’t actually understand how the NET rankings work…lol

Also, UGA has a better record in all 4 quadrants.

NET emphasizes and rewards a team winning on neutral and away venues…and punishes a team losing on their home floor. I am aware what the NET looks for.

Yet you didn’t know that Washington’s win over Xavier is worth the same as UGA’s win over SC

I like how we're all saying "Man Arky is really going to have to thread that needle" for a team that is straight up arse and probably will continue to be

Anyone else and we'd have buried them weeks ago

Testament to their talent and Manchild Muss I suppose

Try again, Washington win over Xavier was more rewarding than the UGA victory over SC. You’re getting it. Lulz.

there are always 3-4 teams that are efficiency darlings that always find ways to lose close games against good teams and are still super high in the NET.

I will say, the committee has seemed to have seen through those types of teams (like it used to with the MVC and MW teams in the RPI era that magically scheduled their way into the Top 30 every year).

The point of NET isn't really that it should be a stand alone ranking to where a team ranked 4 NET automatically is a #1 Seed.

The point is that it is another very useful tool to combat the tendency to just put 12-2 above 10-4 that you see the AP/Coaches' Poll still doing so frequently.

It does tell you a lot about how well the teams have played since it's impossible for someone to watch every single game.

Someone do the math on where LSU would be without a loss to Nicholls State.

It's a shame Jalen Cook was not eligible to start the season, Tigers might be a bubble team at this point had he been.
