Ranked in the top 6, dropped out of the top 25 in the first week

I'm at the point of not caring anymore when I watch UF play basketball.

This sums up me and Alabama basketball, honestly. We look good for a bit, then... out comes the rug.

Seems like the bubble teams keep losing

- Mississippi St lsot 2 of last 3 and bad loss last night to Ole Miss

- Arkansas has lost their last 3 and 6 of their last 8, lost last night badly to Tennessee

- Alabama has lost 3 of their last 4, play Auburn tonight

- Florida got embarrassed by a bad Ole Miss team over the weekend, lost 4 of their last 6, play @ A&M tonight

SOG, if the season ended today, do you think 40 would get bama in?

Ole miss is working it’s way up the board not being as bad of a loss for some teams. Might help the bubble teams later on. Looking at you Florida and MSU.

No - not sure we'd even really be that close

Our biggest issue is that we have both some bad losses (Penn, Iowa St, UNC) and only 1 really good Q1 win (Auburn).

We have to get 1-2 more Q1 wins and win 18-20 games, IMHO. We have a bunch of solid but unspectacular wins (Furman, SFA, Richmond, State) and a schedule will only 3 bad teams on it (FAU, Southern Miss, Samford), but just not a lot of really good wins. Combine that with the record and 3 bad losses and it's a tough sell as of right now for us.

Auburn has the best schedule to win the SEC. UK looks like the best team with their amazing freshmen guards, but they seem to struggle with most teams, which speaking of playing everyone close, LSU has the toughest schedule down the stretch, but should win 3 or 4 of those games at least.

Florida - Still play like they have never practiced together
MSU - Looked like a tourney team lately, until last night
USC - Not really enough quality games left to boost resume
UT - Tough finishing schedule so if they get hot can make it
Bama - Win the next 2 and can get on the bubble

I see probably just the top 3 teams of UK, Aub & LSU plus maybe State and that is probably it for tournament teams from the SEC. Down year.

If we win the next 2 we're in the field and probably as a 8-9 seed

However, we ain't winning the next 2

Win the next 2 and you are in good position. You still have 6 games left to frick it up though so you still need to probably go 4-2 in those games.

Yea - we're not winning the next 2, though. Best case scenario is to lose by less than 10 tonight and find a way to sneak one out against LSU, though they are an awful matchup for us.

And will will frick up the next 6 regardless of the outcomes of the next 2

Mike White gotta be coaching for his job next season if he misses the tournament this year. Unreal the amount of talent being squandered there this season.

I guess the 1 saving grace is Blackshear is the only senior on the team, is everyone else expected to return or is someone wanting to go make money?

I know Gak decided to transfer but he was a nobody
