idk if this is just because I'm so used to the current format, but the left-justification of the site is really uncomfortable to me.
Centered would be ideal imo
Though idk where the ads would go, so there's that

Like it Chicken.
Wouldn't mind the "My Forums" drop down column after my ranking, being put in that same tool bar that would allow me to not have to use the drop down menu. If that makes sense.
Like the look overall better. Comes off cleaner than the current set up.

I like the ad's all shoved to the right, out of the way and and like the left justification.

So far, so good. Switched over yesterday.
ETA: Noticed the quick links default to original setting when typing a post. Doubt anyone would use them from that screen though.

You're not mixing up "My Forums" with "Quick Links" are you? I just added another board to my quick link bar and couldn't recreate the issue.

Yeah that's a bug IMO. The feature isn't working as intended for you. Mine doesn't do that so something's up.

Not the same when using the mouse
I can click 1 team board after another on the left with no additional slide effort and click actions.
Seems the top down beta version works best if you just follow a few boards but if you read all of them or most of them it is a hassle and takes more time. As stated before if you just want to free up space on the left for more ad space on the right it would be simpler to keep the left menu and just use icon buttons instead of text to save space

As for the SEC, you could shorten the text or create icons to save space on the left
