Clark just said Duke AND Clemson will both get to the final four. Did he actually watch the ACC this year?

He’s just throwing crap against the wall and seeing what sticks.

Over on CBS Sports they're roasting UNC getting in.

Georgia getting Gonzaga in R1 is rough. It’s been a down year for the Zags, but no team is more experienced in the tournament.

UNC has one win over a tournament team and 3 losses to non-tournament teams.
No, Stanford, Pitt and Wake aren’t the worst teams to lose to, but none of those 3 were anywhere close to the tournament at seasons end.
WVU and Indiana actually beat some halfway real opponents. Yeah, I’ll grant that Colorado is worse than anybody UNC lost to, but the rest of WVU’s resume is so much better it’s not funny. WVU beat Gonzaga, Louisville, Arizona,
and Iowa State. All of those were better than UCLA, let alone the second best team who UNC beat.

Gonzaga is #8 in Pomeroy.
Obviously the committee isn’t supposed to seed teams purely on their power rankings. But UGA did get bad luck in having to play a team whose predictive ranking is so much better than their NCAA seed.

St John’s seems so overrated to me. OOC, they lost to a UGA team that has a #9 seed and a Baylor team that has a #10 seed. Their only positive OOC result of note was over New Mexico, who’s a #10 seed. So they went 1-2 against 9 and 10 seeds OOC, and they didn’t play any other NCAA teams OOC.
Then everybody gushes all over them after they go 21-2 in a weak Big East, with their score differential not really being as good as their record. No, the Big East isn’t as bad as the ACC, but the Big East is closer in quality to the ACC than it is to the Big 12 or Big 10. (Let alone the SEC.)
