Taking On3, Baseball America, and D1 and averaging them up, here are where the teams rank

Rank Team (Average Rank / On3, BA, D1)

1. Texas (1.0 / 1,1,1)
2. Georgia (3.0 / 2, 2, 5)
3. Florida St. (3.0 / 3, 3, 3)
4. Arkansas (3.3 / 4, 4, 2)
5. Auburn (5.3 / 5, 5, 6)
6. LSU (6.3 / 9, 6, 4)
7. North Carolina (7.0 / 6, 8, 7)
8. Vanderbilt (7.7 / 8, 7, 8)
9. Clemson (8.7 / 7, 9, 10)
10. Tennessee (11.0 / 14, 10, 9)
11. Coastal Carolina (11.0 / 10, 12, 11)
12. West Virginia (12.3 / 11, 14, 12)
13. UCLA (12.7 / 12, 11, 15)
14. Oregon St (13.5 / 13, NR, 14)
15. Oregon (14.0 / NR, 15, 13)
16. Dallas Baptist (15.0 / 15, NR, NR)
——

Others included

UC Irvine (16.0 / 16, NR, NR)
TCU (16.0 / NR, 16, NR)
Arizona (16.0 / NR, NR, 16)

Elsewhere…

Alabama, Ole Miss, and Oklahoma were all unanimous 2-seeds.

Florida was split between 2-seeds and a 3-seed.

Texas A&M and Mississippi State were unanimous 3-seeds.

Kentucky was a 3-seed in two and missed the Tournament in the other.

On3 uses the D1 Baseball poll, they don't have their own polls, so you are counting D1 twice.

From the link just posted..
"In one of the wildest weeks we’ve seen in a pretty chaotic season, each of the three top ranked teams lost their weekend series. That will lead to a massive shakeup in D1Baseball’s top 25. Here’s how we are predicting the rankings to look."

Which is weird, because D1 Top 25 does not look like On3 Top 25

But the dates are different, May 4 vs May 5, so maybe there is a small difference there.. idk

Ahh.... I just noticed the language above.. "this is how we are predicting the rankings to look like.."

Good info. I'll take the schooling too. I seldom read the article, just the ranking. My bad.

Believe State is a unanimous 3 seed on both sites as well.

Rankings seem off from what is on updated ranking in news section of board.

What am I missing here?

On 3 was a prediction.

Texas is #2 on Baseball America.
LSU is #3 on D1
Arkansas is 3 on Baseball America and 7 on D1
Several others are incorrect...

From google AI-

The current projections for the top 8 seeds in the NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament, based on various sources including D1 Baseball and Baseball America, are as follows:

Texas (1),
Arkansas (2),
Florida State (3),
LSU (4),
North Carolina (5),
Vanderbilt (6),
Georgia (7),
Clemson (8).

If this is the top 16, they love to match the 2 and 3 seed SEC teams to play another SEC team in the Supers.

Alabama will go to Chapel Hill
Oklahoma will go to Dallas Baptist
Ole Miss will go to Coastal Carolina
Florida will go to Clemson
Texas A&M will go to Oregon
State will go to UCLA
Kentucky will go to West Virginia

for shits & giggles - here's the P4 Non-Conference ranks by Win % -

.8372 - SEC (it jumps to .8567 without Missouri's 13-11 mark)
.7682 - ACC
.6921 - B12
.6204 - B10

others -

.5971 - Southland
.5820 - SoCon
.5720 - CUSA
.5361 - Sun Belt
.5417 - American

no other conference had a non-conf win % above .540 -

Thanks for clearing it up, was confused because you referenced rankings and polls when discussing the projections. It would have been helpful to provide links in your initial post as you did when responding to my post.

When you have 13-14 teams in the field with as many as 5-6 national seeds, it’s impossible to avoid
