Wasn’t the showing Bama hoped for but Flagg is a future perennial NBA all star and his supporting cast is legit. Heck of a season nonetheless

Honestly, I was shocked the whistle seemed decently balanced. Probably due to us being down big most of the game.
Duke was just better, and this was expected by those of us that know basketball. It got a little worse towards the end than I expected, but I posted this morning that I’d take Duke to cover if forced. They’re a really bad matchup for us.

Yep, I hate Duke, but any fan of the game had to be impressed the way they held Bama down tonight. Not easy to do.
SEC still has 3 teams left, and the Vols and the Barn have good shots to make it 3 in the Final Four.
Disappointing game tonight for Bama and SEC fans. I thought this would be a shootout.

Agree and was saying the same thing. My buddy raise a good point though - wouldn’t you want to be on the court when the clock hits zero to send your team to the final four.
I think we should have taken Flagg out with 4-5 mins left. Every minute he can stay off that ankle is probably helpful.

Yeah man. Sorry. Tournament is all about matchups and unfortunately this was a bad one.
Bama would have fared far better against Michigan State or Tech or even Houston IMO.

Yeah, Florida and Auburn can score a lot more points in the paint other than layups. And Florida's guards are the best in the SEC, maybe in the nation.

AU/Bama trolling is always fun, but good season, gumps. Nice tournament run until you met a team that you didn't match up with well at all, who has a great chance at winning the championship this year.

Their starting lineup is 6’6”, 6’6”, 6’7, 6’9”, 7’2”. They have the tallest roster in the NCAA. They won’t go under screens like BYU because they have size. Duke can also easily switch on defense.

Odds are this game looks like the two matchups alabama had against Florida. I’ll tip my cap to them if I’m wrong. Duke is beatable but I don’t see it tonight."
