Why don't I believe these will be allowed?
Social justice is only justice against the white man. You can't display white privilege on your uniform.

The patch must not exceed 2¼ square inches and must be placed on the front or sleeve of the uniform. While not all team members are required to wear the patch, they must be identical for those who choose to wear them.
The second location is on the back of the uniform where the player name is traditionally located and, as authorized by the school or conference, will allow names/words intended to celebrate or memorialize people, events or other causes. The names or words may vary by team member.

The way I read it, the rule was simply expanded to cover all sports. The way the rule had been written was that it was allowed for some and either not allowed or not stated for others. This brings all NCAA sports into compliance with the same rule.
Patches and decals still have to be approved by the team and the conference. And they still have specific areas they have to go.
Will some players/teams demand to be allowed to wear BLM patches? Probably. Will some teams/leagues give in? Probably. But I don't think you are going to see SJW slogans on backs of jerseys like the NBA or anything like that.

They should put a black lives matter Chicago murder counter on the jersey. But it would have to be updated every quarter

Sucks because so many of you are my friends and I truly enjoy game threads.
I swore I wouldn't watch MLB, and when the Rangers started their season I flip flopped because I missed sports so much.
It was nauseating.
I couldn't finish the game and haven't watched since. Pretty sad as I have been a Texas Ranger fan since I moved to Texas over 20 years ago.
I am still a fan and will come back and watch when they stop all the nonsense. I called their offices and complained and they tried to placate me, but my mind was made up. I am not a season ticket holder, so I am sure they won't miss me.

Clearly a character flaw.

Let me guess: Kellen Mond's is going to be "all of our donors are racist" or "#DefundtheCorps".

I agree with you 100%. Very sad to see NCAA bow down to this crap.

So an Auburn player could put Pat Sullivan's name on their jersey in the place of their own?

Seems like it.
An interesting contingency would be:

What happens if an SEC school decides to allow this, but another doesn't?
