Makes sense.

No one ever ran faster after smoking a joint.
No, but when you smoke a blunt the mind sharpens up like...uh...er....I forrgot what I was going to say.

Do we have any Little Debbie's in the kitchen?

I've heard from a former player that Saban would tell the players he'd much rather them stay in and smoke pot rather than going out and getting drunk.

That’s a mistake. Pot is a performance enhancing drug. It speeds recovery times.

DUIs actually went down after legalization in Colorado and yep, being high on cannabis is cause for DUI. If anything high drivers may cause traffic jams due to paranoid driving but not accidents like drinking does.

This is actually somewhat true. But anything that helps recovery times should be allowed including prescribed steroids.

My stance has always been that it is very hypocritical for alcohol to be legal, and marijuana to be illegal.

100 percent. Overall, weed is the safer substance. So why does alcohol get a pass and not weed?

One of the bigger parts of this issue is that there's no accurate testing for weed. You could have done it a few days ago and fail a drug test at work completely stone cold sober.

A good portion of drinkers may switch over, and truthfully, probably won't go out as much.

This is objectively true. I live in Stillwater,OK and when they legalized marijuana, nobody goes out. Stillwater has been known as one of the best college party towns in the country and now they just stay home and get baked.

I was gonna run for 100 yards but then I got high!

I was gonna lay out to catch a pass but then I got high!

Usually nothing happens.

You can even actually buy weed in those states.

I know I will be killed for this...but I hope not. The last thing we need is more impaired drivers on the road. Before people start...I do believe some people honor the law and do not smoke. I also believe that many more will try it when it is legalized. It is inevitable that we will have more impaired people on the road.

I'm not sure how the NCAA was supposed to curb DUIs, but alright.

By that logic, antibiotics are a "performance enhancing drug". Hell, so's aspirin.

So are casts "performance enhancing foot warmers"?

It is, no question about that. Having said that you'd have to be pretty blazed to have it be near as dangerous as driving drunk.

That’s a fact. I saw a couple of instances in high school where very good athletes, one in track and one in basketball, got stoned and couldn’t do crap competitively. It’s not for game day for sure.
