The NCAA will pay more than $2.7 billion in damages over 10 years to past and current athletes

Didn’t know the NCAA had that kind of money.

So, when is the high school player draft? I can't wait.

I'll care precisely as much about it as I do modern day recruiting.

Seems like what they are trying to do. I think there are about 20 -30 teams that could pay up to 20M a year for rosters. And about 5-7 who could pay well over that. A&M and Texas have that money.

If you think you are going to buy yourself into dominating the SEC you are sadly mistaken. You are not going to bring that Texas swagger east of the Mississippi and rule. You should be grateful to even be in this conference.

They tried that the first year of NIL. The outcome was typical A&M outcome. That program is cursed.

I'll continue to beat the drum... If an athlete is getting paid equal to or more than the cost of a scholarship, that athlete should NOT get scholarship dollars. That should leave more money for other kids.
