And it’s enough. St Mary’s will be lucky to hit 70. They are not a team built for competing with Bama.

Despite St. Mary’s making their first 3 with less than 8 min to go in the game. We really aren’t playing good ball right now.

Think they would have had to put them in Bama’s then, and we played them 3 times already. Committee didn’t want to give AU or FL a likely E8 matchup with a top SEC team
I think AU and Fl brackets both made more sense. But there’s no real solution when you have so many teams in.

Survive and advance. Another week to get Nelson healthier will do wonders for Bama.

They’re gonna need to play a lot better against BYU because their offense is no joke

Our pre season all SEC on the bench injured along with our back up point guard.

Others playing hurt.

This team took its lumps but held together against tremendous adversity.

Now you face the old refs keeping the trailing team in the game bullshite calls

Yep, that should have been our ball. Refs haven’t been great, but after the first 5-8 minutes things evened out a bit.

Don’t think it matters. St. Mary’s is good but they are not “competitive with a 2 seed with a howitzer offense Bama” good.

Bama can have a bad game and beat this team, and they are unless something insane happens in the next 4 minutes.

Sears doesn't have a FT attempt in this game and SMC has more FTs than Alabama whose entire gameplan has been to drive and try to finish at the hoop.

In short?

Shut your stupid arse up

75 points is the most points SMU has given up all season. Alabama just hit 76

St. Mary's is known for slowing the game down. They stay close by doing that.

The only team they really face with an offensive pulse in conference is Gonzaga.
