well I don't how credible an LSU Message board poster is, but they are saying that the NCAA is right now in Thibodaux. I think an LSU fan would at least know that.
Then Derek Ponamsky posted and linked the Brooks blog saying national media was catching wind.

Hypothetical for you. If Woodward and Bernstein had been dismissed from previous places of employment, would it have made their reporting of the Watergate scandal untrue?
/NB4 an idiot says "You're comparing Thayer to W&B hurr durr hurr?"

I wasn't calling him a Bama fan or questioning him. I was just pointing out that both sides call him stupid when its good for them. Bama fans included. He's focused on Auburn more recently, but I can't say that he has some agenda to get Auburn.
I have a different opinion of Thayer Evans though.

Ppl would be just as skeptical of them.

This is all smoke and mirrors. Auburn football is pure as the driven snown. Their history proves they have always been a model program, without the hint of scandal.
Wait a minute ?

I'm skeptical of a reporter that has been picking at this story for MONTHS and has yet to find one single shred of factual evidence other than that Cam Newton got several traffic tickets in Gainesville.

No. But had they not been working for The Washington Post, and say were working for the National Enquirer, they immediately lose credibility. Thayer has worked in all of those places, but now has a blog. TIFWIW

No it would not make it untrue. However, if they had been fired a few times for creating stories, it would make them less than credible and the story less than believable. Its amazing he gets jobs like this, considering his background. He is like the Lane Kifin of sports journalism

Skepticism aside, would it make the story untrue?

Nope.
So based on that Thayer Evans must be telling the truth...AU is fricked.

WTF? Thought Slive's statement last week and Emmert's statements this week pretty much meant there is NO INVESTIGATION of AU going on....
Is there an NCAA investigation of Auburn University, their coaching staff, their current/future/former players or not? YES or NO

How many times has Alabama been on probation since Auburn was last on probation?
