In 1988, Rocker won both the Lombardi Award and Outland Trophy, the first SEC player to do so.
A two-time All-American and a three-time All-SEC selection as a player at Auburn, Rocker was named SEC Player of the Year during his senior season.

Bo's stats in the Cotton Bowl against A&M:
31 carries - 129 yds
2 catches - 73 yds 1 TD
Bo was one of the MVP's of the game. But credit the wrecking crew defense (there is a good photo out there of them tackling Bo) -- Bo got stuffed on the goaline and Auburn lost by 20 -- though AU was only down 5 with a few minutes to play in the 4th quarter.

His only bad play that I can even remember from the 2011 Iron Bowl was when he fumbled in the endzone, and Auburn recovered for a TD. Otherwise, I think he played pretty well in what was at times a hostile environment at JHS.

there's no telling what Greg McElroy bought his o-linemen through his daddy's money.

Cigars all around
An old tradition under which Alabama players received cigars following victories over Tennessee was ended several years ago because the NCAA considered them to be an extra benefit from the school, and therefore a rules violation.
But players can engage in the giving spirit among themselves without an NCAA transgression. As such, UA quarterback Greg McElroy purchased enough cigars for each of his teammates, and thanks to a 41-10 road win over the Volunteers, he didn't have to smoke them all himself.
No word yet on what kind of cigars McElroy bought, or how much damage all those stogies did to his wallet.

From LSU Game in 2010, McCalebb is fast but I still am amazed at how fast PP is running to catch up with him. I recall that PP said after the game that he took a bad angle (or something like that).

1990 Auburn vs. Ole Miss in Jackson. I think there was a standing ovation when the one small cloud in the sky went in front of the sun (at least I recall one in our section). I also recall they ran out of drinks at the concession stands. It was miserable.

Yeah, it's good and bad being away fromt the student section. You dont get raped in the pat down anymore but you are away from the rowdiness
Thanfully, my seats are right next to the student section so I get the benefit of not getting pat down and I'm still close to the rowdiness.

Auburn is very easy. I bring in minatures for every game and just put them in my pockets. One time I walked through the gate still holding my solo cup (forgot to throw it away) and no one seemed to notice, even the cops standing just inside the gate. Another time, my gf had her purse searched, security guy finds the minatures inside, says nothing and lets her walk in.
From my experience, very easy in BR as well.

If I recall correctly, that was in Shreveport for the Independence Bowl.
For me, Ole Miss is No. 1. UGA is No. 2, if anything because Lane Lindell went there:

No, not really...but the girl IS carrying a cooler and a grill so she can't be that bad.
