Ole Miss has a pretty prestigious law school and a house full of lawyers. Nothing substantial (like the Rant was predicting) came of the previous infractions because Ole Miss stood their ground with the NCAA and told them to either prove it or shut the hell up. Nothing will occur here either. Kudos to Ole Miss, at least they have the cajones to stand up to these Pharisees.

How chickenshit of the NCAA to ignore the tampering going on at the bigger schools with established coaches (looking at you Kiffin and Cristobal), and go after a new, unestablished coach to try and make an example.

Even if Clemson doesn't have the exact texts between luke Ferrelli and Ole Miss, they have the text communications between Clemson's coaches Ferrelli, and Clemson staff and the kids agent. They have the texts between Clemson's AD and Ole Miss' AD. In no case did Ole Miss deny what they were doing. In fact, Ole Miss’s general manager, Austin Thomas, when contacted by Clemson's GM Jordan Sorrells, basically confirmed it when he said, they had communicated to the agent that "he (Ole Miss) wanted no part of this, and that his relationship with Jordan (Clemson's GM) was more important to him than Luke Ferrelli." But then Thomas added, "But Pete Golding just ‘does what he does’."
Additionally, they will have all the cell phone records between the player, coaches, GM's and AD's to substantiate Clemon's story of the event(s). There is more than enough right there there to prove Ole Miss was reaching out to a signed player.
But there's nothing there...

This man speaks the truth. In my lifetime, I've likely thrown more shade at Dabo than anyone else in all of sports (Well, MAYBE Jeff Gordon). It KILLS me to say Dabo's right on this one, but he is 100% right here.

If true, this is a gift wrapped case for the NCAA. Dabo has been screaming about the portal since before it began, Dabo might be goofy and annoying to non-Clemson people but he isnt stupid. I have to believe he and Graham Neff have the data to prove it. That presser last week was 100% putting the NCAA under the gun. They didnt got to the NCAA; they broadcasted it to everyone and put the NCAA in the spotlight.

Again, those coaches aren’t dumb enough to do the one thing that is explicitly against the rules.

Unfortunately for Ole miss the ncaa has the proof in this case. More than enough to convict.
Ole miss didn't have the "cajones" they had the stupidity to think 1 playoff visit gave them the same protection as the blue bloods.

I am looking into it as well. My findings will be forthcoming sometime in early June. They will have as much bearing on the future of Clemson and Ole Miss football as the NCAA findings will have.

I didn’t watch the presser but Andy/ari were breaking it down and they seem to believe this too. They said Dabo is more calling out the ncaa than ole miss. Their perspective is Dabo gift wrapped tjem tampering. The ncaa either has to punish ole miss or basically admit they don’t have power anymore.
