"My baby girl got her honorable discharge in May of 2025. She deployed on both the Truman and the Roosevelt. On her 2nd deployment (Roosevelt), they were off the coast of Yeman protecting the Bab-el-Mandeb strait and the Gulf of Hormuz. Yes, her deployment there was extended, too. She told us that a female sailor jumped off the stern of the Roosevelt to commit suicide, but was rescued. She never did find out the disciplinary results, but the sailor was removed from the ship. Yes, the conditions there were tough and hot. She worked on the flight deck, was a plane captain, and an aviation machinist mate. She passed out three times from the heat during that deployment and she was not the only flight deck crewman to do so. She didn't complain. She did her duty and I will always be proud of her for her service and sacrifice. FWIW, she will be 24 this Sunday."

Heck yeah!!! Good job raising her! Give her a big Thank You from me for her service!

To make this even more relevant, this lady is supposedly a healthcare worker (nurse). She is batshit crazy, but the Democrats in Oklahoma selected her. Hopefully she will lose in the overall election, but given the number of these clowns showing up at the voting booth, and the increase of apathy from the general Republican voter, she could get elected. Her first stated plans to implement impeachment process against the POTUS. These people are dangerous.

Yet the old "my body, my choice" does not apply when it is used to actually save a child's life....sad where we have come to in this society.

But then again, I am reminded of the old saying ..."lay down with dogs and you will get fleas"....this is what happens when you make a deal with the devil(s).

Had that happen to me right after 9-11. Was flying solo in a rental plane south of Nashville. The radios were crap and I did not hear the flight center reaching out to me. Evidently I did not respond and when a plane showed up next to me it got my attention. Had to make a phone call when I landed at the destination airport. Those days the military was sitting on ready and was not taking any chances.

I am surprised that there is anything much to support a large fire. From the pics it looks like a desert with scattered scrub brush.

Would you simply let someone off the hook for a million dollars because you felt it would be petty to ask for it when they did not put in the work they contracted to do?
These kids wanted the money, now they are learning the big boy lessons of accountability. That is the problem with the younger generation, entitlement and thinking that there are no repercussions for their actions. I hope OM wins plus damages and lawyer fees.

Because primarily, it was never about just free condoms. It was also about handing out money hand over fist to corrupt managers of these programs. Why should American tax money go to fund Nepalese sex workers? When did it become a option for this country to even be involved in such debauchery? Can Nepal not find some money to buy condoms? Or how about teaching abstinence or morals? It is really getting old working 50 hours a week to support crap like this.

It is an ideology that they have been given that fits their ideals of victimhood and entitlement. Someone owes them something, and it is not their fault that the majority of them are worthless losers who may have gone to school to get a degree in "economic studies of social influences for indigenous peoples".
They would benefit from a system that takes from others and makes everyone miserable since they themselves are miserable.

When the aneurysm is related to atherosclerosis the best way to describe it is like a rusty pipe, with the internal portion of the pipe layered by layer upon layer of crumbly tissue. As these layers build up the diameter of the tube, the aorta expands. This is usually accompanied by a history of hypertension, but it can also be related to genetic factors such as Marfan's syndrome. Remember the guy who played Jaws in the James Bond movie, he was a classic example of what to look for when thinking Marfan's syndrome. As you monitor these aneurysms they typically look for increasing size or large ones such as 7 cm before going to surgical intervention. Like previously said, when the "leak" or rupture occurs, it is generally within the wall of layered plaque. If the pressure is high enough then the rupture expands along the intimal layers of the vessel, thus the term dissection. Many smaller vessels come off of the aorta, and occasionally this dissection with cause these vessels to close, which is thought to be a cause of the pain or tearing felt by the person who is suffering from the malady. Few people survive if the rupture is sudden and severe, and repairing it is a nightmare. Think about trying to patch together a rusted pipe. Every time you try to take a stitch to sew it up, it breaks right thru. I had a friend who suffered an aortic dissection, in the ascending and arch of the aorta. He was performing a radiologic procedure on a patient when it started. he finished the procedure and went to the ER. They identified what was happening and flew him to Birmingham, where they managed to save his life. It is rare for that to occur, most people die within minutes.

We are also number 1 in having the most miserable, self entitled cucks in the world, who find that living in a country full of absolute freedom, where nothing else like it can be found in the world, and yet they will still bitch and whine about it. When I was a kid growing up in central MS, there was a local family doctor who had a piece of property with a stunning lake on it. He loved to fish. Went fishing one time and looked down to see a water moccasin near his foot. The story goes that he shot at the snake but in the fear and chaos managed to hit his foot taking off one of his toes. He asked the local game warden what they would suggest to help rid the lake of snakes and he was told to get him some alligators. So he got a couple of alligators and put in his lake. Many years later when I was a teenager and got to go his lake to fish it was crawling with huge alligators, as well as snakes and we even saw a beaver or two. I don't know that the alligators got rid of anything, but they dang sure managed to thrive in that habitat. BTW it was a helluva fishing spot!
