That’s one of the tough things about the regionals for the lower seeds. New Mexico St nearly upset Oregon St, but lost late last night in extra innings.
Then they have to get up and play the early game against a good Vandy team. It’s understandable if they come out a little flat, but there is no room for error once you’re in the losers bracket.
