It's a rebuilding year. That's about the only saving grace here is there's a lot of freshman out there in key spots and they're a big hitter in the portal away from being really solid.
Doesn't make it suck any less to see them lose leads though.

Your roster was limited. Not a lot of mature star power on offense and you were solely relying on pitching to win games.
Staffs figured out that attacking this Schloss lineup early with strikes would win games. No power to be afraid of filling up the zone (insert Aggie joke here).
