It’s bad on its own.
But to ring a kid up 0-2 after the called inside pitch is absolutely ridiculous.
The decision to call that a strike 3 to end the game is a joke.

As fans, we just need to keep in mind the game is NOT about the two teams playing on the field. It is about the umpire crew. They are the stars of the show. They have to remind us of this every game.

Losing game 1 in the Supers with everything we know about our poor seeding sucks, but losing it in the fashion we did sucks even harder.

Yep that’s the problem. If you give an inch or two inside you can’t give 4 inches outside on the next pitch. The horizontal distance between strike 2 and 3 was at least 22-23 inches (plate is 17 if you didn’t know).

These weather delays are comical. Seems like it's sunny at the ballpark for each game that is delayed.

I’ll hold off on the crew in Hattiesburg. Thru 4, his zone seems to be pretty good. Lindsey got the benefit of the doubt on one strike call, but the zone has been good and consistent from my view.
I know there was the talk about the home run celebration, but I think that was more of a “simmer it down” warning type discussion than anything.
