Since I’m a newbie to college baseball can you clarify a rule for me. When one team blows out another and they are winning by 10 or more runs, when the game is called is that called run ruled or mercy ruled. I’m confused by that. As a fan of a historical great baseball powerhouse I’m sure you have seen that before and would know the terminology better than a newbie like me.

God forbid a team and fan base gets excited about a big win. Being lectured by the historic programs of Ole Miss, State, and Arkansas with all those college World Series titles really puts it in to perspective though. Thanks guys

Soo… VCU scored 19 on Campbell yesterday. I get that Campbell likely has mediocre pitching, but that’s still a bit concerning.

I think this is less on Sully and more on the players. They got pretty full of themselves after winning 3 in the SEC tournament, and then getting blasted by Tennessee.
Pretty shocking because of the expectations of this team coming in.
Although not surprising, considering how talented some of Sully's teams have been.
The shock is Sully's least talented team won the whole thing, although that team did have an elite pitching staff.

Yeah I remember that Florida lineup being littered with guys hitting .210. I think they put the ball in play a lot, though, which probably helped.
That staff was ridiculous.

Yeah, I mean its not really a secret about our fanbase.
They care mostly about football (when the team is good), and could give 2 shits about basketball and baseball.
