Well we finally broke up the perfect game

See Helfrick throws a guy out, and then gets a hit. His nuts must've dropped finally.

Well that four seed is 22-7 over the second half of the season. They were like 5-24 half way through the season.
So while they were a 4 seed on paper, on the field they have been playing like more of a three/two seed.
Auburn may very well win both games but I don’t see anything easy in front of the War Eagle.

why the frick are we the "visiting team"??

It’s something like whoever has been visitor more between the two teams gets to be home in the next game. And if it’s tied, it’s a coin flip.

Souza makes an error and Northeastern is on the board. Still threatening.
3-1, bottom 4.
3-1, bottom 4.

They were 7-7 in the last 14 heading into post season play, and that was after sweeping Oakland the last series of the season. They got swept by a terrible LSU team, run ruled twice, and lost 3 out of 4 to Duke to start the season.
However, the back half wasn’t some tear like you suggested. AU was the 2nd tournament team win of their entire season. It’s embarrassing, frankly
