This is what I don't like about Ming. Down 6-4. Getting that particular run wasn't going to win it. We need base-runners. Lots of them.

So both UK and WVU had their starters chased this early. Seems to me, the winner today will be the one that concentrates on keeping runners live and "not getting out".
Which is odd - because UK seems to be determined to "take" and make the pitcher throw strikes. Well enough. Then why get guys out stretching it on the base-pads ?
Those two strategies are not complimentary.

OK we are aggressive and it doesn’t always work. That happens. What I’d like to see is us getting some good pitching out of the portal for next year.

Help me out catchers. Does Auburn’s Fralick always put his glove to the ground before catching the pitch? Seems to put him at a disadvantage when framing the ball.

Me too. But unless we can find a couple new arms for the rest of THIS game ? I'd like to see us not piss away outs trying to manufacture runs.
Because this game isn't exactly a defensive struggle. Kentucky needs five in this inning alone. Because WVU is due for another 3 spot next inning.
