By “national media” I’m assuming you’re referring to your dread in savior Rosebowl.

He will certainly do better than Luke. I think he can get them where Freeze had them, but he's smart enough to use burners. Seriously though I can see him getting them in contention for West titles, he can recruit and knows offensive football.

Everything I've read the exact opposite of what you are stating. I'm not saying Kiffin is going to achieve XX amount of wins or that OM will become some super power, but everything I've read has been pro Kiffin hire.

Same. I wanted OP to name the sites bashing Kiffin. You know I want to read those, but I haven't seen any

I do wonder how well he will do recruiting in the backwoods of Mississippi to church going mammas. He needs to learn some bible verses
he's going to be working Cali and Florida for players

Y'all are all scared. The dude has matured and should do well.

People forget that we had Ross Bjork, the self dealing Scientologist, leading the athletic department that enabled Hugh Christ in destroying our program. Keith Carter seems like he will run a tight ship.

If we kept Luke or made an Arkansas type hire, y'all would not be this shook.

Yikes. Imagine your two NFL stints being under Davis and Jones.

I didn’t “want” him to be a State fan. I did check his posts and they were mostly about State. Kind of the logical conclusion.

Links to said articles. Telling folks to google it for themselves screams desperation.

He will average 7.5 wins a year in his time there. They will be more competitive no doubt, but won't win any titles per usual. They're ole miss man, they can't compete yearly with the beasts in the sec west. Just isn't gonna happen. Their best seasons in which they obviously chested their asses off, they still couldn't make it to Atlanta even...what does that tell you about the potential of their program?

Kiffin will leave the most hated man ever in Oxford. Even if he has some success he will betrayed them some way. Rats are rats.

I think its an example of Ole Miss deciding to just have fun with football. Win some, lose some, but at least it will be fun and the offense will be awesome.
