Hey Tuscaloosa! A few reasonable person questions for your "fricking awesome" assessment.

1. What affiliation has Ray Lewis EVER had with the University of Alabama?

2. Why Ray Lewis, a murder and sexual misconduct, etal?

3. Can you agree that there were 100's of more viable and FAR FAR less controversial options to reach out to on this matter?

This thread is extremely funny considering LSU fans are happy they hired a murder to head their football program or at least that’s what LSU fans were calling him before they hired him.

So we’re praising kids for being raised by 2 parents. Awesome

When in a particular sub-group of American culture this only happens in 30% of families - which leads to poverty, crime and imprisonment of millions of young men who never had the input of a loving, involved father - yes we should absolutely encourage it and praise it when it happens. No apologies.

Don't ask me, I'm not a basketball fan.

I honestly couldn't name a single player on LSU or Alabama's teams outside of Darius Miles.

But yet you're going to go in and post on a thread about a basketball coach. Look here, look here, I'm giving you the attention you crave.

“You know, effort and all that stuff falls on the head coach and I’ve got to change the culture here and we’re working on it, (but) it’s obviously not changed enough,” Oats continued. “I’m as disappointed as the fans are, I know they’re super disappointed. I’m not going to sleep well tonight. Hopefully we’ve got a lot of players that are just as disappointed as we are and they make some changes, but we’ve got to get it changed.”

Had to dig and specifically find a quote from your coach addressing the "culture problem" since GLORIOUS made such a snarky post.

So he could move on with his life and not have to be dragged through a trial. Pretty common, and completely irrelevant to this conversation or the context in which Nate Oats spoke to him.

Bama fans do kill each other after losing football games.

Spoken like a true gump.

Bama fans, no one will question your loyalty if you dare to question a move by your coach. This is a really bizarre/questionable decision by Oats.

Dude is a great coach but he might not be the brightest outside of basketball. Part of it may be his thick caveman like Wisconsin accent but something seems a little off.

Inb4 he taught high school math! He’s a brilliant mathematician!

He was talking about a culture of losing, not working hard and not sacrificing to be the best, not a culture of crime. But you knew that.

Somehow if this was flipped and Auburn or LSU did this, I don’t think Bama fans would be defending this…

they have a culture problem. I dare you.

Darius Miles missed time for “personal reasons” less than three weeks before the murder. I wonder what that “personal reason” was? More crimes?

From where I’m sitting it looks like Miles did something and Nate responded with a slap on the wrist suspension. Maybe you can fill us in

If you can’t - I will be contacting AL.com so they can help with my investigation. I have people over there.

What next… is Nate gonna give Aaron Hernandez’ former cellmate a ring to pass forward some advice for Miles?
