same, except D Miles isn’t a player. He’s in jail awaiting a long prison stint for being violent like many Bama players.

Sad!

No one cares if you can name a player or not.

They beat the dog shite out of the tigahs anyway.

You stick by your players when they make a mistake, but at some point you also need to be concerned with the rest of the student body and people of Tuscaloosa. I hope they get to the bottom of this and the person or people who committed this crime are punished.

So he reached out to a man who pled guilty to trying to cover up a double homicide?

However you want to spin it to make Nate Oats sound like the big bad boogeyman.

Yeah, you guys are either missing the point or likely just don’t care.

Nate Oats owns LSU, and you guys just can’t help it.

Let the boy go to prison. He played big boy games, now he has to take big boy punishment. I have zero sympathy for him.

Team will get over it. Probably already are.

Player gets charged with murder
Victims are apparently also player's team and coach by association

This is something that happened TO the woman who's picture you have no problem putting all over the internet as you try and twist the narrative. This was something (allegedly) done BY a player on a team that now seems to have a culture problem. Thug Life!

Absolutely they are. That doesn’t diminish at all the tragedy that happened, and there is certainly no equating the pain being felt by the respective friends and families. But that’s why situations like these are so awful. There are a shite ton of victims, including the friends and family of Miles.

This has been traumatic for a lot of people. I think Oats has done a wonderful job of balancing this situation. He has correctly and appropriately pointed out that Jamea Harris’ family and loved ones, especially her little boy, are the ones who need our attention and prayers the most.

But he’s also got a team of players to take care of emotionally. I think he’s worn that responsibility as well as anyone could.

What excuses? The truth is that if this were any other coach not named Nate Oats, you people wouldn’t give a shite. However, since it is Nate Oats, who owns the collective souls of the LSU fanbase, this thread is going on 4 pages - and 81% (eighty-one percent) of the responses from non-Bama fans are LSU pearl clutchers. That doesn’t even include the OP, who started the thread and didn’t bother to provide quotes but managed to get in a joke about OJ Simpson.

I’m sure that’s just a big coincidence.

They hate everything Alabama especially after Oats told them to the GTFO of Coleman.

Seems like it's already found baton rouge.

Remember all that "we'll never fire wade" mess? I sure so.

except for the part where he proudly asked for a murderer’s advice. it’s okay, you don’t have to suck his dick over every move he makes. you can agree with people who call him out over doing something wrong. remember he doesn’t know you
