Oats will suck hind tit at Bama, he could be king at Indiana however. Easy choice...

Outside of Indiana’s really early titles, the two programs are very very similar numbers wise. Arkansas actually has a better all time win percentage.

If we were happy getting bounced in the round of 32 why did we bother getting rid of mike?
Mike never even sniffed a 3 seed or top 10 ranking. Not to mention it took Muss a whopping 1 year to recruit circles around him.

Well, to be fair to Tiger, Oats did only make a 2 seed, so I guess that's sucking?

I’m starting to think LSU manufactured all this Wade drama to hold on to him

Oates may leave in 3 or 4 years but it most likely won't be for a team not named Kentucky, Michigan State, Syracuse, North Carolina, or less likely Kansas with Michigan State being the biggest threat to take him when Coach Izzo retires in my humble opinion.
He sure as heck isn't leaving after this season considering he brings back Quinnerly, Shackleford, Ellis, Primo, Gary, and a healthy Tchikou along with newcomers 5 star JD Davison, 4 star J Holt, and likely the highest rated 4 star Bedaiko coming in.
Alabama likely won't repeat as SEC champions but they have a very good chance of being anywhere for a 3 to 7 seed in next year's NCAA tournament with the players they have coming back along with a likely Top 10 recruiting class (assuming we sign Bedaiko) coming in.

Nobody matches Indiana for tradition, but we're probably on the next rung below them. Couple that with lower expectations, probably an equal shot at the tournament each year, and deep pockets, and I don't think we need to worry about it too much. Always a chance, but I put that chance low.
Oats might not want to be overshadowed by Saban for the next decade tho

Alabama has got to fast track the demolition or complete gutting of Coleman Mausoleum.

Yeh, I don't know how I forgot about him considering he might be our top all round returning player.

Yep, we got to completely remodel that old airport hangar we call an arena.

I honestly don't see it.
I'm not sure it would happen. Mostly worried about his ties to the Midwest, even though he seems to like San Diego much better.
He'd also be able to recruit better there, but the pressure would be much higher.
I don't think Oats is safe, either. He's certainly being linked to the job more than Muss. Money may play a role, but I mostly think it'll come down to which he prefers. One plus for Alabama is that he's already proven that he can recruit well there, so I'm not sure that will be much of an advantage.

We also lead the series 3-2.
Indiana is at the bottom of the blue blood bucket. They receive a lot of recognition for their '75? team that was so good.

Both suffered the fallout from two hall of fame coaches that went nuclear when they left. Both have endured shitty hires for close to 20 years.
