Brodie Croyle and JPW

JPW showed in '08 he could be a good SEC quarterback

Brodie just got thrown to the wolves

Bert Jones

Belichick said he was the best pure passer he ever saw.

Bert was great (All-American and 1st rounder), but put him in a modern offense with current rules and give him Chase/Jefferson, Nabers/BTJ, or OBJ/Landry and he would have been unstoppable.

I’m not even going to attempt to top Bo Nix at auburn. That’s the answer. Went from a running joke to a heisman finalist and one of the all time great rookie seasons.

It's a damn shame he fulfilled his life long dream of being an Auburn QB only to arrive in the middle of a shite storm. I'm very glad that it worked out well for him in the end.

Joe Ferguson. Loved the guy, wanted to be him - but the team wasn't that good around him. He had some great games and put up some good numbers - and if the team was better would have continued the success the Hogs had through the 60s into the early 70s.

Jayden did win the Heisman so he's not a perfect fit but man, what a wasted season. A semi-functional D and . .

Aaron Murray wasn’t on bad teams but with the skill players and defense we have now.
He put up huge numbers but had bad losses bc the Swiss cheese defenses of the Richt era.

Kelly Phelps
Recruited to take OU from wishbone to I formation for more passing. He was highly recruited out of high school. His line was all recruited for the wishbone so he never had time to get a pass off.

Jd5 won a heisman and has the worst defense in LSU history.
Still won 10 games, if the defense had a pulse he gets a natty

Brodie would have gone down as the best to ever play at Bama if he had been on Saban teams.

Damian Allen. Was statistically one of the worst QBs in the history of the SEC but was a very highly recruited option QB to run DiNardo's triple option.
DiNardo went to LSU and Rod Dowhower was hired and then went to 4 wide pocket formations.
