I’ve liked Coach Gundy since he was 40 years old because he is a man.

He's young at HC but Kirby at Georgia is pretty impressive.
Spurrier because LSU should have hired him. He was Saban before Saban but he would choke a game or two a year, unlike Saban.

Ironically, my dad would say Neyland and Jordan. It's hard not to respect either as men, regardless of the schools they coached.
For me, in the SEC, it's probably Mark Richt—a very successful HC. He always seemed a gentleman and handled the ups and downs with steady leadership and humility.
I hate the PedoU scandal and its damage to his legacy, as JoePa would likely be the easy #1 overall for me in all of college football outside of Bama HCs.
Bobby Bowden is another one who I think genuinely cared (to a fault) for his players and staff.

I have four: John Majors, Tennessee; Jerry Claiborne, Kentucky; Fran Curci, Kentucky; and Paul Dietzel, LSU.

My fellow A&M fans will hate me, but Mack Brown. One of the nicest, most personable guys you will ever meet.

Spurrier.
Bill Snyder. Class act. Well disciplined teams that never beat themselves.

Hyphe man has turned UT back into a contender.
I think what Stoops has done at a basketball school is remarkable.
Lane has elevated OM to a ten win season and probably for years to come.
Those are current head coaches.
