With the emphasis on player safety I totally agree.
He literally hit a man in the head with the object designed to prevent head injuries.
The NFL needs to make it clear that playing is a privilege, not a right.

Look I could care less about NFL because of other reasons but I for one don't condone Garrefts actions. On another note Mason should also be penalized. While on ground he was starting shite trying to pull off Myles helmet.
From that point on it was practically 3 to 1.
Never run towards someone with a weapon in hand, that's fighting 101.
Garrett was wrong but so was Mason .
