2016 Georgia 8–5 T–2nd (Eastern)
2017 Georgia 13–2 1st (Eastern)
2018 Georgia 11–3 1st (Eastern)
2019 Georgia 12–2 1st (Eastern)
2020 Georgia 8–2 2nd (Eastern)
2021 Georgia 14–1 1st (Eastern)
2022 Georgia 15–0 1st (Eastern)
2023 Georgia 12–0 1st (Eastern)

6 division titles and 2 runner up finishes in 8 years. I know the East isn't as tough as the West, but that is pretty much putting your division on lockdown.

Got to give credit where credit is due.

Now Bama, please beat the stuffing out of Georgia on Saturday. Thank you.

Amazing accomplishment definitely aided by a very weak SEC East...

I’d feel the same way if my arch rival was winning.

Good luck in your bowl game.

While true, you can only play the teams in front of you.
Good job to all the UGA coaches.

It's almost like there's a void his first few years. Richt seems like a lifetime ago, but it doesn't feel like Kirby has been there almost a decade. In my head there was an in between coach but I know that isn't true

But I have been told by UGa fans that the little bowls don't count.

You might be surprised to find out that in most years the East had another top ten team when he won it.

2018 UF 8, UK 12
2019 UF 6
2022 UT 6
2023 Mizzou 9,

Kirby's on pace to become the GOAT if he keeps this up.

I told all these mother frickers Kirby was going to be a great coach and to give him time. I even had a few UGA friends who were writing him off claiming they were "cursed" a few years ago. Now he's ruling cfb.

The idea of the SEC West being so powerful and wonderful is largely a myth.

It was an era that lasted all of 6 years – 2008 to 2013 – and after that Les Miles started farting around and Manziel went to the draft and Auburn fell off.

Since that time it's basically been Alabama, Alabama's two schizo inconsistent little brothers LSU and Auburn, and then frigging Ole Miss, Miss. State, Arkansas and Texas A&M.

Please tell me all of these great and wonderful SEC West programs that Alabama has gone to war with in the last 10 years.

Georgia is finally going to find out what it’s like to play a tougher schedule next year and going forward. I can’t believe that Georgia didn’t take more advantage of that eastern schedule over the last 25 years than they have. Kirby finally figured it out and is taking major advantage the last few years. But they should’ve been doing this a long time ago.

Yet GA has beaten every West opponent as well.

So, weak West too then...

At 5-7 was Florida offered a mercy invitation to lower tier bowl?

Or was this a slight of hand?

There is a long way to go. I can't see anybody eclipsing what Saban has done. It is a constant grind.

Kirby started recruiting like Saban in 2018.
Freshmen/sophomores don't win championships (jimbo just got fired because his fanbase doesn't understand this).

Now you are seeing how what Kirby has built is better than those LSU/Auburn teams that fall in the crapper after their 1 year run.
Recruit like Saban and you may be able to build a run like Saban.
