Alabama shouldn't be ahead of Ohio St.

Ohio State at 4 is stupid. They are #1 imo, but 4? Come on.

GT? You should check out their computer ratings.. they don’t like them at all. You didn’t include a G5 team so an ACC team isn’t required.

Replace GT with ND and those are probably the 12 teams.

Ohio State at 4?

#1 Sagarin
#1 FEI
#1 PPD

They have beat 6 pf their 7 P4 opponents by 16+ points..

It completely invalidates your rankings imo.. and I usually think they are pretty good. Not your best work.

It’s an opinion, an eye test. A G5 team isn’t necessary just for a ranking. Obviously one gets in, in the end.

Anywhere between 1 & 4 is pretty much the same in this format. Has to be easier to coach a 3-4 team than a 1-2 team that thinks they're hot shite.

It isn’t zero, but it’ll be tough. The games at Pitt and they do have a decent team.

I’d give them a 30-35% chance.

Sayin is having a heisman type year,

Smith is easily the #1 WR in cfb

Their defense is ridiculous and doing things that haven’t been done in 20-30 years..

Where is their weakness? They might be better than last year imo. They weren’t when we played them, but Sayin still had training wheels on.,

Have you seen his stats?

80% completions
24 & 4
192 passer rating

He’s really good.

In theory they’re not supposed to be using an eye test, and I don’t think that any of your bottom 4 except for mayyybe Texas are playoff teams under an eye test. GT is probably a marginal top 30 team under the “eye test”. And for that matter, BYU (your #15 team) is probably a marginal top 40 team under the “eye test”.

And all of Vandy’s games not against patsies except for South Carolina (I’m counting Va Tech as a patsies) point to Vandy not being playoff caliber.

the schedule

f all of you for making me pimp Ohio State.. y’all are either blind or delusional..

They are the team to beat imo.

If they had played and beat Oregon, people would just say Oregon isn’t as good this year.. as they said when Indiana beat them..

Peaking at the right time will be important going forward.. much like OSU last year.. so maybe that is their downfall this year.

Georgia might fit that description this year.. if they can avoid Bama.

Texas could as well, but I just don’t see it. If they win in Athens, I’ll change my mind.

Bama might fit if they lose to OU and bounce back.

A&M maybe if they lose to SC or Texas. Not losing until the playoffs might be their downfall.

Oregon would have to show something I haven’t seen yet.

Ga Tech’s SOS is deplorable and they lost to NC State. They might not be bowl eligible yet if they played one of the stronger SEC schedules.

BYU is too high. They’ve not beaten anyone good and got run off the field by Texas Tech. Same for Utah

ATM, Ohio state, Indiana, Bama as of now based on w/l and sos. But bama is not playing like a number 4 team offensively.
