I saw a team that, by the 2nd half, was ready to leave ATL and get to work on the aggies.

People will be shocked at how improved our O will be in 2 weeks.

Tangible things I saw? Nothing.

17-14 Bama

That's an incredible stretch on all counts:

1. That Alabama will only score 17 on A&M.

2. That A&M will only score 14 on Alabama

.... it's week 1 and everybody wants to be Chris Low.. nobody can make a clear judgement until Week 3. I'm pretty sure excuses will be riddled out by then..

aTm's defense is worse than Bamas Oline, I've said all offseason that bama will destroy aTm this year but after watching their Oline crumble, I'm not as positive as I was about it.

The Oline will start gelling IMO. It'll happen a lot faster than ATMs defense gelling.

Roger, I'll be shocked if we give up 31 to anyone this year.

And yes, señor Lewis, I'm aware I'm gumpin' hard.

I think Bama's defense will do a good job containing JFF. But our offense will struggle.

After watching both games I am very glad A&M has the bye and Bama does not. Both teams looked very rusty with a lot to work on. A&M definitely needs another game, esp with so many starters that were out for Game 1, in order to work out the kinks. In a lot of ways the Sam Houston game is really Game 1 considering Johnny not playing until the 2nd half and the makeshift defense out there.

Bama's biggest problem is the OLine has a ways to go before they gel and that is very unlikely to happen in practice vs a game. I can't imagine Saban wants this bye week right now.

If your offense struggles against that A&M d, you're in for a looong season. Bama will run all over that d.

Please remember that Bama's offensive numbers were held down with at least 2 holding calls (non-SEC refs). Do not expect to see these calls in conference play.

I hope we run all over them. But I think our defense will be out there too long and tire out like they did vs. LSU last season

This is logically unsound. Bama's offensive line played poorly with all their starters. A&M's defense played poorly without six starters.

It stands to reason that we just need to get all our players back. Bama actually needs their players to improve.
