Historically, with some exceptions, the weakness of every team it seems. Fortunately there was some inaccurate QB passing the first couple of games or things may have turned out much differently. I don’t know how much we’ll be able to improve that part of the defense this season but we are going to have to in order to be competitive.

The secondary went from a strength to our weak link. That combined with our recent trend of being unable to generate a pass rush is concerning, but at least we have been getting some sacks so maybe that will help. A lot of offensives will feast for sure but hopefully we can outscore some teams.

Sure is. We might get better as a few guys get experience, but the bad coverage and poor tackling will cost us some games this season.
We also commit too many penalties. We need to get that fixed.

Rambo, I wouldn’t get your hopes up that it gives Zou a chance. We could play 11 walk ons on defense and still hold hall to less than 20.

Why is the secondary so bad (aside from players being out)?
