It's either going to be someone we really love or someone we are not excited about at all. I'm hoping since Foley has had two years basically to plan this out, he's got it covered.

If we would've done this last year we would've had a lot more coaching options out there. Strong or Franklin would've been great.

Not a lot of great, young up and coming coaches as far as I can see.

Dan Mullen and Hugh Freeze?

I don't think that's going to be an option. Not with the failed Boom experiment.

Yep. Important hire. All of the football coaches during Foley's time have left under less than perfect circumstances. Spurrier left pissed off, Zook was fired, Urban ran things into the ground his last year, now Champ is fired. 2 of the 4 were very successful, but their exits far from graceful.

Jim Tressel would be my top choice. His show cause is done.

That's fricking impossible because you've only been playing for 20 years.

What happened there? I thought Spurrier just wanted to leave to try the NFL out.

Hell fricking no. He has been dirty from his days at Youngstown State.

Edit: You made me spit my tea out. He has been a dirty mofo his whole career. He got Youngstown in hot water and we all know what happened at OSU.

And people thought Pell and Hall were dirty!

The probation that would cause would make the almost shutdown seem like a vacation

Foley would have never hired Urban if he knew what a shallow arse he is back then. We don't look for coaches who let the players act like idiots.

Well you can hire him in a couple of years when you fire Sumlin.
